This couples therapy approach is for you and your partner if:

  • You have recurring arguments that don’t get resolved and lead to disconnect or hurt. Instead, you want to learn communicate effectively and find tools for resolving conflict.

  • You or your partner express hurt or frustration through criticism or withdrawal; instead, you want to express your needs, hear your partners needs, and learn how to get both sets of needs met.

  • You two don’t feel heard or validated in conversations when you two have differences of opinion; instead, you want to learn effective ways of validating each other and navigating and negotiating differences with more ease.

  • You and your partner have difficulty defining and setting boundaries with each other; instead, you want to set and maintain boundaries in a way that actually leads more connection, not distance.

  • You want to feel safe being vulnerable with each other, but sometimes or often feel misunderstood, hurt, rejected or unloved; instead, you want to be vulnerable with each other and feel close and intimate.

  • You two have had trust ruptures in the past that have led to feeling insecure in the relationship; instead, you want to resolve and heal broken trust, and feel secure together again.

  • You are going through or about to go through a life transition together, such as getting married or the birth of a child; you two want to be a solid team and navigate the transition with greater insight and effective tools to handle change and potential stressors.
